Visit the School

There are a number of opportunities to visit Princethorpe during the course of the year, in order for prospective pupils and their parents to get a true flavour of the school before registering to take the entrance examinations.

Sixth Form Open Evening

On Wednesday 14 October the College held a dedicated Sixth Form Open Evening for prospective Sixth Formers who are interested in September 2021 entry to the college.

The evening included a presentation by the Headmaster, Ed Hester and Head of Sixth Form, Ben Collie, regarding key events and dates in the Sixth Form application process, A-level and BTEC subject information and general information on the Sixth Form experience at Princethorpe.

If you were unable to attend the evening, but are interested in studying as a Sixth Former at Princethorpe College, please email admissions@princethorpe.co.uk or call 01926 634201/262/297 and talk to our friendly Admissions Team. They will also provide you with a link to our Sixth Form Open Evening site, which includes recordings of the Headmaster's presentation and pre-recorded introductions by the Heads of Department, to the subjects offered in the Sixth Form.

Virtual Open Evening

If you missed our Virtual Open Evening and Live Q & A Session which took place on Wednesday 3 June, please contact our Admissions Team who will be happy to share the event with you.

"From our first visit we felt that Princethorpe was the right environment for Tom. The staff have always been informative, welcoming and the pupils are happy and respectful."

Year 6 taster experiences- November 2020

In the light of Saturday’s announcement about the forthcoming national lockdown,  sadly we will not be in a position to go ahead with our planned Year 6 Taster Experiences in school on Saturday 7 and 14 November.  We are really disappointed not to be able to welcome the children to the College, but we hope families will understand the situation.

Entrance Exams for September 2021 entry to the College take place on Saturday 23 January 2020. If you are considering Princethorpe as a senior school for your child, in order for us to progress their application you need to register for the exams and complete any bursary or scholarship applications by the deadline of Friday 4 December please. This will enable us to continue with the admissions process on your behalf, including seeking references from your child’s junior school, these references are reviewed by the admissions panel alongside the results of the exams.

We will be hosting a Virtual Admissions Q & A Session on Monday 16 November from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, where the Headmaster and the Admissions Team will answer any last questions about the admissions process and entry to the College in September 2021.

To sign up for the Virtual Admissions Q & A Session please click here.
