Visit the School

There are a number of opportunities to visit Princethorpe during the course of the year, in order for prospective pupils and their parents to get a true flavour of the school before registering to take the entrance examinations in November or applying for Sixth Form.

Prospective families are also very welcome to attend our PTA Summer Fete and Motoring Festival in June and our PTA Christmas Fair in December. See website calendar for details.

Open Events

Open Afternoon - Sunday 15 September 2024

Sunday 15 September, 2.00pm to 5.00pm

Join us for our Open Afternoon in September and take a look around the school. Visit departments, take part in activities and hear from our Headmaster, Mr Grove du Toit about what a Princethorpe education can do for your child. 

If you are looking for a secondary school for September 2025 this will be the last opportunity to visit the school before the Entrance Examination deadline of Friday 27 September.

Taster Events

Year 6 Taster Days - September 2024

Year 6 Taster days take place over several days in September

Aimed at prospective Year 6 pupils, our Taster Days are a great way for your child to really experience Princethorpe during a normal school day.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Parents online q&A session - Wednesday 11 September 2024

Wednesday 11 September 2024, 6.30pm to 7.30pm

Prospective pupils and their parents are warmly invited to join the Virtual Question and Answers Session. This is a great opportunity to understand the admissions process in more detail. The event will be a live-streamed Q and A session with Mr Grove du Toit (Headmaster), Mr Michael Spencer (Deputy Head of Academic),  Mrs Catherine Rogers (Registrar) and the senior team.
