What are some of your favourite memories of your time at school?

My time at Princethorpe gave me a real sense of community and balance. I have fond memories of sport, especially representing the school at XV Rugby and X1 Cricket. I was lucky to be able to participate in the first South Africa Rugby and Hockey tour!

Were there any teachers or staff who had a significant impact on you?

Several teachers pushed me to aim higher, think differently, and instilled a belief that curiosity and commitment matter as much as talent. Mr Taylor (Geography) who had a great sense of humour, Mr Kerrigen (English) for bringing a real sense of joy to teaching, Mr Hubball (form tutor) for getting me through Sixth Form! And the entire sports teaching staff!

How did your time at the school influence your life and career?

Princethorpe set the foundations for my leadership style today - combining accountability and pace with empathy and humour, and reinforced the importance of belonging to a strong community.

    What is your current occupation?

I currently serve as Vice President of Strategy, Performance and RevOps at BlueConic, a SaaS martech company. In this role, I act as the CEO’s strategic partner, responsible for driving the company’s strategy and operating cadence. My focus is on ensuring that our vision translates into measurable growth, aligning leadership, accelerating execution, and building a high-performance culture. Alongside my role in technology, I am also the Director of McPherson Rose Developments, a property development business based in Warwickshire.

Are there any special achievements or milestones you’d like to share?

Launching and scaling LinkedIn Sales Solutions in India, growing the business from one person to a 45-strong team in doing so, creating economic opportunity for professionals and businesses across the region. Delivering our first +£1.5m GDV Development. Securing my first executive-level role at Blueconic.

What hobbies or interests do you have outside of your professional life?

Rugby, cricket, golf, and surfing remain big passions. I also enjoy travel, reading, and learning about business and leadership. My wife Emily and I live in Warwickshire with our three young children and our Vizsla, Lulu. Life at home is wonderfully full and busy, and family time is a big priority alongside my professional commitments.

What are your future goals, personally or professionally?

Personally - to raise a grounded, happy family while continuing to grow our property development business. Professionally - to scale SaaS and property ventures while developing high-performing, people-first teams.

What motivated you to join the Princethorpe Foundation Alumni Committee?

Princethorpe played an important part in shaping my values and outlook. Joining the alumni committee is my way of giving back to that community and staying connected. As a Foundation parent, that connection feels even more meaningful. I want to contribute not only as an alumnus but also as a parent, helping ensure the school community continues to thrive for the next generation

How do you hope to contribute to the school community through the alumni committee?

To share my experiences in leadership, business, and international work with current students and recent leavers, and to support initiatives that build pride and engagement across the alumni network.

What advice would you give to current pupils or recent leavers?

Be curious and back yourself. Don’t be afraid of mistakes they’re where you learn the most. Integrity, resilience, and hard work matter more than shortcuts, and the friendships and networks you build here will carry you further than you think.
