    [ITEM_ROLE]

    School Connection:
    Pupil - Princethorpe College (1988 - 1992)

    OP Committee Focus:
    Careers, Networking, Volunteering

What are some of your favourite memories of your time at school?
My fondest memories of Princethrope often revolve around break times in the Orchard, enjoying football with friends.

Were there any teachers or staff who had a significant impact on you?
Two teachers who left a lasting impact on me were Mr Moore, whose enthusiasm for English was infectious, and Fr Murray, who not only instilled a love for Religious Education but also introduced me to squash.

How did your time at the school influence your life and career?
Princethorpe played a pivotal role in shaping who I am today. It gave me confidence and self-belief qualities that I continue to draw upon throughout my career. Princethorpe remains a central part of my life. My wife Claire and I were married in the Chapel by Fr Teddy, and our children are part of the Foundation.

    What is your current occupation?
Currently, I am the CEO of an education company that supports young people aged 8 to 24 in building their employability skills. It is a role that aligns perfectly with my passion for helping others realise their potential.

What hobbies or interests do you have outside of your professional life?
In my downtime, I enjoy playing badminton and recently took on the challenge of learning to ski in Austria.

What motivated you to join the Alumni Committee?
Over the years, I have been honoured to serve as Treasurer and Chair for the Crescent PTA (for over six years) and, after an encouraging meeting with Ed Hester, eight years ago, I joined the OPs Committee and haven't looked back. I am deeply committed to supporting the Foundation in any way I can.

How do you hope to contribute to the school community through the Alumni Committee?
I make it a point to attend as many OP events as possible and take every opportunity to promote the Foundation's activities among friends and colleagues. The Friendly Faces scheme for university applicants is one of many initiatives I champion, as it reflects the Foundation's enduring commitment to nurturing and supporting current pupils and recent leavers.
