Upper Sixth Physicists Take On The Senior Physics Challenge

26 Jan

Princethorpe's Upper Sixth Physicists have delivered the College's best ever scores in the Senior Physics Challenge.

One of the most challenging physics’ tests available to Sixth Form students, set by the British Physics Olympiad, was tackled by 17 of Princethorpe's finest physicists with resounding success.

The College’s Upper Sixth Physicists sat the Year 13 Physics Challenge in December and were presented with their certificates last week. Based on the curriculum and featuring questions that relate to A-level topics, the Senior Physics Challenge stretched and developed the students' thinking in the application of Physics.

A very capable cohort delivered the College’s best ever scores. Congratulations to them all, but a special mention to Oliver Dyke, Zach Hawkins, Sophie Nicolle, Alex Lawrence and Emmi Parmenter who achieved the highest possible accolade of a Merit.
