Three College Sixth Formers Have Been Awarded Degree Apprenticeships

07 May

Three Princethorpe Upper Sixth Formers are celebrating after being awarded degree apprenticeships.

Ruby Clark has landed a place on Grant Thorton’s Public Sector Audit Apprenticeship programme, Kai McNamara has secured a position on JLR’s Supply Chain Degree Apprenticeship scheme and Tim Peyret will be joining Barclays' Risk Analyst Apprenticeship programme. All three are to be applauded after beating off tough competition to earn their place on these coveted programmes.

Comments Jacqui Quinney, Head of Careers, “We are absolutely delighted for them all. Apprenticeships are an excellent career choice for young people, developing invaluable skills and years of relevant on the job experience. A degree apprenticeship may take longer to complete than a traditional degree at university but those who opt for one are paid a salary and incur no tuition fees. It’s a route that is proving increasingly popular.”

Huge congratulations to Ruby, Kai and Tim, we are delighted for them all and are sure they will be successful in their apprenticeship roles.

A number of our other Sixth Formers have apprenticeship applications ongoing and we wish them the very best of luck as they pursue these sought-after opportunities.
