Benet Are Our House Bake Off Champions

04 Jun

The ‘David Attenborough 100th birthday’ theme produced an incredible array of 42 cakes for this year's House Bake Off.

This year's House Bake Off took place on Tuesday 2 June. It is always a popular competition and once again we had a tantalising display of creative entries. The ‘David Attenborough 100th birthday’ theme producing an incredible array of 42 cakes, from jungle and ocean scenes to butterflies, ladybirds, hedgehogs, lions and more.

We welcomed OP Jasmin Rose, a previous House Bake Off winner and now a professional cake creator, for the judging alongside our House tasting team, Ms Scott, Mr Cowlishaw, Dr Onyekwe and Miss Petrucci. They took on the task of judging all the bakes, considering taste, skill, decoration and relevance to the theme.

House Activities Leader, Mrs Fox, said, “Our House bakers are just incredible, the effort and creativity put into making these cakes was amazing."

Many congratulations to Benet who were the winners once again this year, taking the title in both the taste and decoration categories.

A huge well done to everyone who took part!
