Hawaiian House Activities Day Was A Tropical Island Adventure

The biggest event of the House year is always a huge favourite with pupils (and staff) and our islanders went all out in their tropical adventures to win the crucial House points up for grabs. Tutor groups roamed the sunny shores and lush valleys taking part in a series of exciting activities and fun challenges. They embraced the Hawaiian Hula, enjoyed the Hanalei Bay Water Play, risked all in the Aloha Assault Course, fought with pride in the Wakiki Beach Volleyball, had a Coconut Carnival caper, wandered Maui's Mystical Mile, took on the challenge of the Tahiti Taskmaster, discovered Mele Music and designed and decorated as Island Florists.

After completing all the adventures, the school gathered around the summer luau bonfire for a final sing-song and to hear the results. Huge congratulations go to Austin, who were crowned our Hawaiian island adventure winners this year.

An absolutely massive thank you goes to everyone who made the day possible. Special thanks to House Activities Co-ordinator Rachel Fox, House Leaders, Harry Walters, Naomi Chard, Clare White, and Will O’Hara, and our stalwart Sixth Form House Captains who all worked so hard to make the day so much fun.

It was another epic adventure and, as always, Princethorpe, you were amazing!
