Upper Sixth Former Nika Secures Two Offers To Study Medicine

Many congratulations to Upper Sixth Former, Nika Handjani, who has successfully secured two offers to study medicine.
Come September, Nika will be heading off to The University of East Anglia to start her journey to becoming a doctor, her dream job, and a career that is very much a family profession.
Throughout her time here at Princethorpe College, Nika has studied hard, consistently demonstrating academic excellence, leadership and initiative. Her dedication, compassion and commitment to making a difference shining through.
Her success in the highly competitive medicine application process has not been achieved without a great deal of hard work, as well as hours of dedicated support and encouragement from her teachers and parents. As part of her preparations, last summer Nika successfully sat the UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test). It includes a situational judgement test where Nika credits her many Princethorpe experiences as supporting her insights and performance. Nika also believes her role as Transition Prefect allowed her to showcase her empathy skills and ability to talk to a wide range of people, in both her personal statement and during her university medicine interview.
We are very proud of Nika as we are of all our Upper Sixth Form students as they complete their preparations for their upcoming public examinations and finalise their next exciting steps post Princethorpe.
