U16 Boys Through To The Semis In The Telegraph Cup

On Wednesday 4 February, Princethorpe took on Kenilworth School at home in a hard-fought cup game. Both teams wanted the win, but the U16 Boys delivered with plenty of clinical moments where their precision and calm ensured the team came out on top.

Two great goals from Finn Jones, stepping up from the year below, took them into half time ahead. Then, in the second half, Princethorpe valiantly defended their goal, with the defensive line and Arlo Ashton working immensely hard to limit Kenilworth to just a few chances. The players' composure under pressure instrumental to their win.

It was a real team performance with the boys all shining through their work ethic, tenacity and quality when it counted to come through a tight cup fixture and continue an impressive cup run.
