College Welcomes New Trainee Teachers

12 Sep

A warm welcome to our seven trainee teachers starting their journey to qualified teacher status here at Princethorpe College this year.

As part of our teacher training partnership with The Lion Alliance we welcome trainee teachers to Princethorpe College. They work in the classroom supported by our expert teachers and by Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning, Dr Liz Pyne. They also take part in a programme of learning and development that supports their journey to becoming a qualified teacher.

Trainee teachers bring fresh energy, passion and dedication to their roles. Their hard work and enthusiasm are a valuable asset for our school and we’re always excited to see them grow into the inspirational educators of tomorrow. Our current cohort were enjoying an introductory session when we caught up with them this week.

Would you be interested in making a difference as a teacher? Further information about the Lion Alliance can be found here and information about Getting into Teaching and possible bursaries can be found here.

Or email Dr Liz Pyne at lizpyne@princethorpe.co.uk for advice about the different routes into teaching and what Princethorpe can offer you.
