The Foundation is very fortunate to have a dedicated Board of Trustees, with a wealth of knowledge and experience across a variety of sectors including education, business, and law.
They give very generously of their time and are focused on acting in the very best interests of the Foundation.

Simon Brown

BSc (Hons) Banking & Finance, Loughborough University
Profile:
Simon is a proud Yorkshireman who followed his degree in Banking and Finance with an initial career in commercial and corporate banking, before moving into Corporate Treasury as the No.2 in Severn Trent’s Treasury Department. Simon used this experience to move into Financial Markets, eventually heading up HSBC’s Regional Treasury office in Bristol, dealing in structured interest rate and foreign exchange solutions. A move to Alliance and Leicester Plc preceded the 2009 crash, after which Simon turned to Education Management. Simon has since held a number of Bursar and Business Manager posts in both the maintained and independent sectors.
Now retired, but undertaking occasional short-term Bursar contracts, Simon is married to Angela and has two dogs – a Westie and a miniature Labradoodle. He is a keen motorcyclist, an occasional skier and tennis player and travels as often as other responsibilities permit.
