PTA Christmas Fair Goers Get Warm Welcome

There was no ‘Bleak Mid-Winter’ at Princethorpe as the first Sunday in Advent welcomed in the PTA Christmas Fair with traditional family appeal. Tinsel, mulled wine and festive cheer were in abundance.

Santa made his usual stop off, with a warning from Mrs Claus not to be late for dinner. Presents and penguins made the visit to Father Christmas complete, Holly Christmas aka Georgia Newborough kept everything ticking over with smiles all round, for the Sleigh ride of a lifetime. Luckily the Snow Queen did not make an appearance this year, clearly the ‘good magic’ was spun to noble effect.

Stalls made the shopping a treat this year and if you missed out on mistletoe I know a group of Year 11 boys would be pleased for extra orders.

This year, like every year, we were blessed with heartfelt and friendly faces to make our fair complete. Our huge thanks go out to the many helpers, supporter and workers who make the fair a success and with nearly £5,000 into the PTA pot we are sure there will be some New Year gifts coming the school’s way.

Planning for the next Christmas Fair will be underway in the New Year – if you fancy joining the merry band of elves keep an eye out on the Flagpole for the date or email us at
