Out Of This World Entries At This Year's House Bake Off
There were 42 entries for our House Bake Off competition and what a tantalising display they made all lined up in the Food Technology Room ready for judging. Our theme of Planet Earth had produced an array of out of this world entries. A proliferation of planets and earths and plenty of plant based ‘growing’ entries too.
The excitement was palatable as pupils and staff crowded in for the lunchtime tasting and judging session marking their favourites with a sticker. There were gasps and exclamations over the creativity on show.
House Activity Co-ordinator, Faye Roberts and the House Activity Leaders, Katharine Darwood-Bredin, Marc Edwards, Kate Parsons deliberated long and hard judging taste, decoration and relevance to category. Faye Roberts said, “The effort from those involved was just amazing!”
