Golden Jubilee Ball - Have You Got The Winning 'Golden Ticket'?

Preparations for the College's final celebration of its Jubilee year, the Golden Jubilee Ball, are well underway and we are delighted to reveal today who the 'golden ticket' winner is!

Over the Easter holidays, all current Princethorpe College parents were automatically entered into a grand prize draw for a pair of 'golden tickets' worth £150 to the ball. Numbered draw tickets were included in the Trinity Term calendar mailing and the winning number was drawn by Upper Sixth student Paddy Price earlier this week. Paddy, who will celebrate a big birthday on 1 July (the same day as the ball), wished everyone luck as he drew ticket number... 00092!

If you are the lucky 00092 'golden ticket' holder, please send a JPEG image of your ticket, clearly showing the number plus your name and postal address to goldenjubilee@princethorpe.co.uk by Friday 5 May 2017 and the Golden Jubilee team will be in touch. If the winner has already applied for and bought tickets they will receive a full refund. If we do not hear from ticket holder 00092 by Friday 5 May, another 'golden ticket' will be drawn at random. We look forward to hearing from our 'golden ticket' holder soon!

As a reminder, our Golden Jubilee Ball will take place on Saturday 1 July 2017 in a beautiful marquee in the College grounds. This will be a black tie event, with a drinks reception and delicious three course fine-dining meal with wine, followed by live music and dancing. Shaping up to be a wonderful celebration event for the Princethorpe community, current and former parents and staff plus a whole host of OPs have purchased tickets so far.

In addition to the full 'dinner and dancing ticket', there will be a small number of tickets available to join the party later in the evening for the music, dancing and a hog roast, these 'after dinner tickets' are designed to appeal to younger Old Princethorpians.

Tickets are priced at £75 per head for a 'dinner and dancing ticket' and £25 a head for the 'after dinner ticket' which will include a welcome drink on arrival and hog roast.

'After dinner ticket' holders will have access to the event from 9.30pm.

The Golden Jubilee Ball is aimed at over 18s, though current Sixth Formers will be able to attend if accompanied by a parent.

Tickets are selling like hot cakes and we only have 50 pairs of 'dinner and dancing' tickets and 80 'after dinner' tickets left, so if you haven't bought your tickets yet, don't miss out! To apply for tickets simply click on this link.
