Old Princethorpians
Old Princethorpians is our thriving and popular past pupils association.
We are interested in hearing from all past pupils and how they are faring in life post Princethorpe.
We have information on a large number of former pupils and will do our best to put friends back in touch with each other.
We are also seeking to establish an annual programme of social events and a Skills Bank whereby Old Princethorpians can support current pupils through mentoring, advice and careers guidance.

OPs Host Sean's First Farewell and Rub Shoulders With Fashion Royalty
The Old Princethorpians hosted a lovely evening for longstanding Biology and Science teacher and Head of Lower School Sean Philpott on Tuesday 14 June.
The event was a special 'Farewell and Celebration' for Sean, who is retiring at the end of this term, after 33 amazing years on the teaching staff, and four as a pupil himself.
Amongst a gathering of OPs, former and current staff the Headmaster and Alex Darkes spoke eloquently and amusingly on Sean's contribution to the College. Messages for Sean from OPs from around the globe were read out and Sean responded in his own inimitable style to the delight of all present.
Comments Peter Rollason, Chairman of the OPs, "Sean is a true Princethorpe institution and it was an absolute pleasure to host this event for him. This will be I'm sure the first of many fond farewells to him over the coming weeks. We hope that with more time on his hands, we will see him at more OP events in the future!"
London Pub Meet
OPs rubbed shoulders with fashion royalty at the London Pub Meet on Friday 10 June, finding themselves opposite the London HQ of fashion designer, Stella McCartney!
New faces at the Pub Meet this year included Nigel Hall who left Princethorpe in 1971, Tim Duffy and Andy Thomas, alongside regulars Mike Nagaur, Peter Rollason, Paul Adams, Leigh Middleton and Gary Peacock.
Commented Nigel Hall, who nows works for Transport for London, "It was difficult to recognise people after all these years. I left in 1971 so we were all looking a little older and different after 40 years!! Someone came up with a suggestion that we should all wear a photo ID containing a picture of what we looked like at school and our name and leaving year. But after a few beers and conversation it didn’t matter as we all sorted it out in the end".
