A broad and balanced curriculum is taught. 

The curriculum is covered in three Key Stages: Foundation including Nursery and Reception; Key Stage 1, including Years 1 and 2, and Key Stage 2, including Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Initially there is a great emphasis on the importance of developing key skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, Mathematics and Science.  The curriculum is based on national guidelines and is supported by a wide range of extra-curricular activities, outings and residential courses outside school.  As a result, most children do exceptionally well in their Key Stage tests and entrance examinations into local independent senior schools.

Art, Design Technology, French, Games, Geography, ICT, Music and RE are mainly taught by specialists.
