Two teams from Crackley Hall School took part in the West Midlands Ski Association School Ski Race held at Telford on June 25th. The Under 12 Boys team comprising of Sam Doherty, Jordan Rigby, Tom Warne and Toby Henderson  won first place. Their combined slalom times on the dry ski slopes were quick enough to field off competition from thirty two other teams . Individual honours also went to  Toby Henderson who came 1st in the U8 category with Sam Warne coming second. Jordan Rigby was placed third in the U10s and Sam Doherty 2nd in the U12s.

Not to be out done by the Boys’ Team, Crackley Hall Girls U12 Team also won first place. Freya Eaton achieved  first place in the Individual U12 event with team mates Ella Bromley and Aoife McLeod helping to lead the school to victory. Freya is now ranked sixth in the country for her age group.

A total of seven medals and trophies were won by the young skiers that evening which is a tremendous performance by all involved.  Head Teacher Mr Paul Ryan congratulated the teams’ successes.
