Young musicians at Princethorpe College welcomed the opportunity to sing and compose with Tyndale Thomas MBE, one of Britain’s key figures in the development of Gospel Music. Pupils from Year 9 upwards took part in the Gospel Music workshop to extend their understanding about different choral approaches. Organised by Music teacher Mrs Susan Olden the students enjoyed a warm up session which involved choral response singing and plenty of energetic body movements. Tyndale then inspired their own compositional skills. During the day a Princethorpe Gospel song was written and recorded by the students.

Mrs Olden commented, ‘Tyndale is an internationally celebrated musician. It has been a wonderful experience for our young singers to work with him.’
