Becci - Lower Sixth
Becci has just moved up to the Lower Sixth after gaining an impressive array of GCSEs in the summer, including 4A*s and 4As. The 17 year-old from Rugby is studying Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Geography at AS-level and is enjoying being one of the first to use the College’s new Sixth Form Centre.
She is relishing the differences between Senior School and Sixth Form life, namely the greater independence, the ability to manage her own time more and the different relationships between students and tutors. She has also made new friends from amongst the new students who have joined the Sixth Form from other schools.
Becci is experiencing new responsibility too, as Sixth Form patron to one of the Year 7 forms she has a mentoring role, and is currently organising a tobogganing outing for the younger pupils.
When she’s not studying Becci is working towards her gold Duke of Edinburgh award and is raising money towards a trip to Lourdes with the charity, HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust. She is also a dedicated synchronised swimmer, training three times a week at Rugby Swimming Club, alongside her cousin Hollie who also attends the Sixth Form at Princethorpe.
